This is Halloween~
Halloween Event
~October 31st~
Morning dawns bright and crisp, there's the smell of falling leaves and...does the sun look just a little bit like a giant jack o' lantern in the sky? It's probably just a trick of the light. On every doorstep, one for each inhabitant of the house is a pumpkin with a bag of carving tools and a few candles tied to the stem with a note attached:
There are stacks of lit jack o lanterns on the streets, grinning at passers by and marking some sort of causeway leading to the cathedral. The doors are shut tight and there's the sound of someone or something shuffling around inside, they won't answer whoever knocks. Down by the river there's a long table set up with various sheets of paper and a few signs written in the same handwriting of the note. There's two contests to enter: Pumpkin Carving and Costume.

Evening seems to fall a good deal earlier than usual, that great big pumpkin sun sinking past the walls of the city sooner and casting long shadows over everything, and a low fog begins to creep in to the city within an hour it's blanketed the streets. The glow of candles within the jack o' lanterns on the streets strengthens enough to see by and soft music can be heard.
Halloween is upon Ruby City and it's going to be one scream of a night!
