This appeared outside the ShinRa Compound sometime between the hours of 0500 and 0800 Friday morning. It has since been referred to as a "Terminal" and supposedly grants access to something called the Amala Network. Reports say the territory within is highly dangerous and very unstable and enemies abound. I have confirmed the location of several others located in various positions throughout the city.
They are triggered by proximity, and their soul purpose seems to be opening a conduit into this Network. I've been told a safe distance to remain is greater than ten feet. I urge you all to practice extreme caution when encountering these devices until they can be properly shut down.
