[Hmm. How would it be put. Friend? Teammate? Family? Doug was definitely each of the three, but choosing the better of them for this.]

A family member of mine. Before I found myself on that metal carriage, he was right there with me.

Metal carriage....oh! You mean the train!

...and now he's gone?

That's what it's called? [Excuse her tone, she's just unfamiliar with it all.]

Mm. I figured he got here before or around my own arrival, but after hearing a learning about this place, I'm beginning to think he didn't.

Yeah...probably not.

So, people have filled you in already, then?

A bit. At least where I am, that it's filled with people from other worlds and that it's a whole other world all together. Nothing past that I'm afraid. [Not saying it's due to the fact that it was people from home and decided to troll instead.]

I'm still a bit curious about this watch. It looks like the ones from home, yet not.

Actually, it seems to be an alternate future of Earth. I think, based on the climate, we're somewhere in central Europe!

...oh, it's not really a watch. It's actually a very sophisticated communications device in watch form! It's amazing, really.

Oh? It definitely didn't seem like the other "world" back home, so that's good to know~

What all exactly can it do? Just for future reference of course.

So far, I've discovered a video, audio, and text feature.

I see. Technology really does advance later on, doesn't it?

It's...actually sort of archaic by modern standards...
