Ah, I was wondering if anyone still wanted any of the moon cakes that miss Vietnam and myself were making.

W-We kind of decorated parts of the city with red lanterns that we found and we even made our own little flying lanterns with rice paper we found.

[Turns her video feed to show the red lanterns.]

What is the Mooncake Festival? Are these mooncakes "cute" as well?

I suppose you could say that's part of its charm?

Mooncakes are often given to people who have feelings for one another, but thousands of years ago they were used to send secret messages to generals in time of war.

I see.

That...sounds like a rather intriguing evolution, from messenger to representation of affection.

I suppose when you have four thousand years between stories things tend to change.

I would suppose, yes. Interesting, though.

Such is mythology.

I see. I wonder then, if it is even true they were used to convey messages.

As far as I know, yes they were. It was for strategy and enemies, especially invading from other lands outside of China, would hardly think to look at pastries covered in odd symbols as orders of war.

A very good point. I applaud these...what did you call them? Chinese.

Yes, the Chinese. T-They're my cultural people.

My brother and I were from Northern China.

Ah. And what are the Chinese like? Aside from being partial to secretive pastries, that is.

Usually they're steeped in mythology and traditions.

I guess that's why I want to be a housewife. My mother was one and I'd love to just be a good wife for a man I fall in love with.

Partial to mythological secretive pastries. My apologies.

Of all the things you could hope to achieve, you want to be a housewife?

What's wrong with a housewife?

Exorcists are thrown in to situations where we can never have normal lives. What's more perfect than wanting a normal life when all we've known is war.

Nothing, I suppose. I simply have difficulty understanding how one could desire to live their lives for someone else.

Is that normal?
