Who: Roxas and You What: Shopping, trying not to mope When: Late afternoon, early evening. Where: The City Streets, varied locales Warnings: Just the usual durp alert... plus possible angst. Status: In Progress.
Thankfully, with his new lodgings, finding something to wear wasn't a difficult ordeal. His roommate's generosity and general good-nature combined with their near-identical size made getting something to wear while clothes were being laundered probably wasn't quite the potentially compromising situation that his friend's was. So he'd been eying a jacket on the rack that curiously resembled the one he'd worn in the digital Twilight Town when the sound of a familiar voice caught his attention.
"Uh, Kairi!" His contemplative expression brightened up on seeing her. Roxas had given up on trying to resist that cheerful aura and at this point, had just resigned himself to go with it. "I've been alright. The day after you had me over, I ran into Aqua. At least for now, I'm staying with her and Ven."
Honestly, at some point he thinks that he'd like to take back the townhouse he'd been squatting in; in his opinion, it would look rather nice once it was cleaned up and perhaps once he had a roommate to live there with him. But tht would be later. The more pressing thing right now was tending to getting some new clothes on his back.
"Are you out shopping for yourself today?" It was a funny question for him to ask; he doubted either of her roommates were in need for anything new to wear. But with just the way Kairi was, he wouldn't put it past her to look for gifts.
He nodded a little, wondering if something good happened to the redhead while he wasn't paying attention -she seemed in an even better mood than normal and that was saying something. "Yeah, at first I didn't want to bother them -no, I think I just needed some time alone. But it's nice over there."
"I'm still kind of curious to know why Ven and I look alike. If he didn't act so much differently, I'd almost be convinced that we were the same person sometimes."
No sooner had he made that comment though then did she bring his attention to the jacket he was holding, taking a moment also to let her offer sink in, "That's really nice of you! Thanks."
Again, he pauses as he looked the garment over -on one hand, he liked how it looked on him, yet on the other hand, he wasn't sure if he should just try to make a fresh start here. After a few moment's deliberation, he finally decided that he'd take it after all and if possible, see if he could find the pants and shirt that went with the whole outfit.
As he moves to examine another rack, he glances at the shirt selection before trying to make more small talk, "So how've things been over there? I know it's been a little while."
