What: Celebrating the grand opening of their new coffee shop/tea house!

Weeks - no, months after they started planning and working on this little enterprise of their, Janice and Donna were finally ready to share it with the city. The coffee shop slash tea house was warm and welcoming, done in soft colours with soft fabrics on every little couch and chair and settee they could find. There were larger open areas, right in front of the counter, then cosier little areas off of it, perfect for private meetings. It wasn’t far away from the train station, or much of anything. And goodness knows it was warmer than it was outside in the snowdrifts. You could see them out the windowed shop front, though, making the space bright. There are lights here and there, too, brighter behind the counter and softer elsewhere, with little table lamps if you need more than they’re offering.
As for what’s being served? Every tea, coffee, and related beverage you can think of, likely, as well as juice and water if that really doesn’t tickle your fancy. The baked goods are plentiful today, a handful of things mostly made by Janice’s roommates. They smell nothing short of delicious.
