Elena was not a fan of this idea. AT. ALL. With all the weird possessions going on and the monsters reappearing in the city, this was the last thing she would have expected him to want to engage in. While she had the mindset to refuse to let him go and remind him that he was fragile not at his best form, duty kept her silent. That and, well, it was Rufus ShinRa. Besides the fact he was her supervisor and boss, he was also notorious for getting his way. That's not including the little fact that the Turks might have enabled him from time to time...stupid precedent...

So instead of wasting breath and energy, Elena kept her thoughts to herself and merely frowned. That was enough to let him know she thought it was a bad idea without having to speak it. An agreement was also made that she would remain nearby, but not be visible. That was another tongue-biting moment - last time she watched from the shadows... No, she wouldn't allow herself to think on that, not when he stood there on the platform, a beacon of white and blonde in the normally dreary area. There were more important things to focus on right now.

So where was Elena hiding? Rooftops were too obvious and Alexander's-freaking-lance if she was going to hide in the little train-cave. Besides, it was a poor excuse of a hiding spot if she needed to engage in a surprise attack - she would be right in line sight. No, Elena had become one with the shadows, melting into the blackness between buildings, with one eye on the figure in white and the other for any potential threats. She would remain motionless, soundless, and invisible until she no longer needed to be.
