When that hand landed on his head, the white haired boy froze in a state that probably could have been mistaken as petrified fear. It was, in fact, partially that, but also a sort of ready apprehension. Allen would likely be able to invoke his innocence if he had to, despite his not wanting to. A fight, or conflict wasn't really how they needed to pass their time. Allen's gray eyes watched Tyki's yellow ones levely, his lips curling into a tight little frown at the question

"I can't say I'm all that excited," He replied, rather deadpanned. It was the truth, and Tyki was invading his personal space. At least it wasn't as intimate as the last time Allen had dealings with the Noah of Pleasure. Allen had been about to knock the hand away, but then Lavi went and did it for him. Somewhere deep down, Allen appreciated the effort Lavi was making to separate the noah from him. There would be time for thank you's later.

"I would really prefer if we could just walk away from this." Allen frowned, as he flexed the fingers of the arm that formed his innocence. He really detested fighting humans -- and despite the Noah's protests, they were human to Allen, living beings just like he and Lavi were. This realization was one of Allen's biggest weaknesses.

When the hammer came near his hand to move it further Tyki snatched it back. The look that was shot to Lavi was a clear warning "Hey, keep your little mallet away from me carrot-top, or this won't end the way your dear friend wants." He would phase the object, but he wasn't stupid that was innocence and a dead Tyki was a bad Tyki to him.

He looked over at Allen, it was rather creepy the way the Noah seemed to read his mind. Besides he knew both of them well enough to guess, if he looked human harming him would become that much harder. Tyki turned on his heel. He gave a shrug, taking a few steps off the Noah seems to morph. The grayish tint to his tanned skin fades, the stigmata disappears. Tyki plucks a pair of glasses from his face. Now, the peacefulness of our existence here, hinges on you really. I mean, I've not even pulled a weapon and you're boyfriend here, well he's already ready to jump my bones."

"I mean really, bookman I don't like underage dates, Allen's safe. For now, maybe." He turns, once the speech is over, he stands there with a wide grin and waves.

"Come now gents, I can live like this. We can enjoy some cards, or I can put you two in a grave together. Really, the cards are in your field." It seemed a good offer. Knowing a Noah, it was probably an offer that was too good to be true.

The redhead neither lowered his hammer nor did he press any further forward with the rather large weapon. He didn't want to push this little conflict over the tense precipice into violence if he could avoid it. Right now, things were tense, but no blood had been spilled. Yet, anyway. He wasn't going to be the one to trigger that. After all, the things the Noah was capable of... it was plainly terrifying to think of. There were two of them, and they were both armed, their Innocence being the only thing that

As the Noah spoke, the rather humorless grin on Lavi's face twitched just slightly at what the dark-haired man had to say. Boyfriend, huh? Despite himself, he was amused. It wasn't his fault. His sense of humor had a mind of its own. All trace of humor disappeared from his expression when Tyki continued. Hadn't pulled a weapon? The Noah was a weapon. He laughed a short little sound. "Keep your hands to yourself then. Someone might get the wrong idea." Someone like Lavi.

As the other man rather abruptly changed, Lavi had to wonder what game he was playing. And it had to be a game, didn't it? There was no other explanation for it -- the other man's insufferably calm (and frankly creepy) manner, being lured out here. His single green eye narrowed though. Put them in a grave? "Heh. If you haven't noticed, you're outnumbered here. I wouldn't be tossing threats around so easily." Maybe it would be the other way around... though that was unlikely. Lavi knew Allen, after all. And the other exorcist had trouble fighting humans, Noah or not. He rather doubted Allen would be thrilled at the idea of trying to take Tyki out once and for all. "But frankly, we've got enough to worry about in this place without..." He frowned at that before continuing. "Allen was right. We're all trapped here. Now isn't the time for this."

Allen's left hand rose to settle on the handle of Lavi's outstretched hammer, at about the same time as the other two men began their conversation. The white haired exorcist had meant to interrupt, the concerned expression on his face an obvious indication of his intention. However, with one easy turn of phrase and snippet of conversation, any semblance of being able to string together words to form a coherent sentence disappeared completely from Allen Walker's brain capacity. His expression fell flat, his gloved fingers white knuckling their grip around the handle of Lavi's hammer almost immediately. Just barely, Allen's shoulders began to shake, before the rest of him comically fluffed up like an angry, hissing, spitting kitten.

"JUST WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU INSINUATING?!" Allen shouted. His rage, for the moment, was completely aimed in the noah's direction. It was his mouth after all that had even started this abominable rumor. Allen's face was red with rage, or embarrassment. He wasn't going to even entertain the idea that he was flustered by the suggestion. "WHY DON'T YOU KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT FOR ONCE!?" Allen raged a bit, his form still fluffing in a cat like display of rage and complete and utter embarrassment. Eventually however, the tables were turned, and Tyki was forgotten all at once as Allen directed his rage at Lavi.

"AND WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU LAUGHING AT?! IT'S NOT FUNNY!" Allen shoved the hammer back towards the redhead before remarking, with significantly less volume. "I am NOT his boyfriend." Allen fumed, the bristling starting to calm down, if only marginally.

Tyki couldn't hold it anymore. Allen's little tirade was much too amusing and thus the Noah doubled over in laughter. So very testy about the boyfriend subject wasn't he? And Lavi, such a devoted 'friend'. Oh yes, Tyki did believe he'd found a sore spot with at least Allen. Apparently the thought didn't bother Lavi so much; a fact the Noah stored away for later of course.

"No-now now" He stumbled over the words at first as he couldn't quite stop laughing. "Really, if that's what you two are in to by all means don't let me stop you. I'm all for it, quite the handsome couple you make." Allen really should have known better then to let it be known that bothered him, Tyki would use it as often as possible after all.

"I never said I wanted a fight, I asked a kind stranger for help. How was I supposed to know it was you?" He looked at both boys squarely; they really had no proof he had known so Tyki wasn't too worried. He gave a non committal shrug of his shoulders "You're the one pulling a weapon and trying to fight me. Going immediately to the 'Noah's' the one responsible. I got sucked here, same as you."

Somewhere along the way, this conversation had gotten a bit surreal. And Lavi couldn't say that at least some of it wasn't his fault -- especially when after Allen's tirade of a reaction, he found himself pouting just slightly. "Jeez. It's not like it'd be that bad you know. I'd make a pretty good boyfriend." Really. The redhead was quite convinced that he was the type to be decent boyfriend material -- if he weren't a bookman, of course. That got in the way a little bit. But that was beside the point.

What was more to the point was the laughing Noah in front of them, who was apparently intent on giving poor Allen Walker an aneurysm right here and now. He waved a hand at the continued little jabs, dismissively. Yes, yes, a handsome couple. They were both attractive individuals. That didn't make it true. He was a bookman, after all. Otherwise... wait, no his brain jerked to a complete stop as though it had been summarily tackled to the ground American-football style by his better sense.

Back to the matter at hand. "Yeah, and it's a great coincidence you managed to pick out an exorcist from the myriad of people stuck in this place. You're not that lucky, and I'm not that unlucky. Let's just face facts." As for the bit about the weapon, Lavi scowled. "Yeah well, the things I've seen you capable of have got me feeling a little wary." In particular, the near-death of Allen Walker, the so-near-to-death-that-it-would've-killed-anyone-even-remotely-normal one. Lavi was not about to let that repeat itself. "So... you're not proposing some sort of truce, are you?" Was that a hopeful thought? The last thing they needed while they were here was the added complication of fighting off a Noah.

this took way too long, I apologize. cursemarked June 24 2010, 13:32:28 UTC
"THAT POINT DOESN'T MATTER." Allen snapped back, the bristling had begun anew already. Both Tyki and the red haired bookman were lucky that Allen had the presence of mind not to smash them into tiny, tiny little bits with rage. In a better situation, Allen would have stalked off to deal with his rage and embarrassment all by himself. As it was, he couldn't very well leave his friend alone with the Noah. It took a moment but Allen steeled himself and his rage after a moment of repeating an internal soothing mantra. Also, with the promise that he'd deck Lavi later once they were out of danger's reach.

"....Even if you didn't know that it was Lavi on the other end" Allen began. "You knew it was us when we showed up...." Allen murmured the words, mostly to himself. When Lavi suggested that the noah might be looking for a truce? The white haired boy looked hopeful. That would be truly ideal in the end, wouldn't it? Allen considered the thought for a moment, careful not to take his eyes off of the noah for too long a stretch of time at once. He was all too familiar with Tyki's abilities, and his lack of remorse when using them.

"If we can all stick to a truce...Right now that would probably be the best." It was ideal, in a way. Even then, Allen knew it was naive to think that Tyki would change his ways completely. Once they found their way out of the city, all bets would be off. Allen knew the grim truth of that.
