Rufus found himself taking Christine's treatments early in the day - after all with less people around, it left him with less of a chance to be questioned about the whole thing. Most people had known that he was sick--Tifa had done well to inform them of that, he thought with a scoff.-- But only those inside of ShinRa really knew the extent of that.

He should probably tell the Turks at one point or another that Sephiroth was inside of his head. Then again, the SOLDIER general seemed just as content as he was to build up walls and leave that whole mess alone.

Finished with the treatment now, and only waiting to hear out the Nurse give his instructions to see her in a few days for more steriods and a change of bandages, the ShinRa president leaves the back rooms of the clinic with his greatcoat over one arm, absently putting the cufflinks of his shirt back into place. He does not expect to see another in the clinic office at this time-In fact, he is even more surprise that he recognizes the face. They may of not met yet, but there had been a few times where his browsing of the network had led him to see some video, even if he never showed it of his own.

"Well, Miss Vietnam." Rufus may of never shown his face on the network before, but his voice is unmistakable. Sharp blue eyes and a stature that carries him well, perhaps if he had not even said anything he would of been easy to recognize. Rufus ShinRa was a man, after all, well known. "What a surprise."

The Asian nation was still looking around the clinic (it was very well kept, whoever was in charge was definitely doing a wonderful job maintaining it), when she heard the familiar voice, and turned towards it. She had never seen Rufus ShinRa, only that he had a perfectly agreeable voice from his audio feeds. Here in front of her, was a handsome young man, neat blond hair, and his clothes were professional. However, she thought his eyes stood out; they had a good strong gaze.

"I think it's more surprising the other way around, Mr ShinRa." Vietnam smiled, "I suppose you've seen me." Good lord, I hope he's missed some videos, though. "but I have yet to see you. I was hoping I might be able to meet you during one of your visits."

If he had or had not, the other would not mention such, though a bit of a amused smile played at his face. Her reaction to him was favorable, so that was a good start - He intended to keep it that way. The man approached, switching the coat to his left hand and then using his right to extend his hand for a handshake.

"A few times yes, I am glad to know I was right about it." Of course, he knew he would be. It was a point of his to know what was going on around this place, if only to help them get out as soon as possible. "Though I have to admit that I am surprised to see you here in the first place."

She's hoping that smile is not because of certain events, just because it's a wonderful coincidence that they're here now! At least, that was what she was telling herself before glancing at his offered hand, taking it with her own right gracefully.

"It is not too hard to spot me, it's my scary presence, is it not?" She laughed, though really, her brothers would agree, sadly enough, so she was not sure if that was even a joke. "It does make things a lot more easier, no? Otherwise I would've had to guess what you'd look like instead. And I apologise for my sudden appearance. It was just something I decided to do on a whim, a long awaited meet."

"Scary? You've been nothing but polite and pleasant, Miss Vietnam." He said with a laugh, though filed away that little bit of information for later--It was always the little things that really said something about a person, that and their handshake, if he did say so himself.

"I do not mind at all, I should of made it happen sooner." He countered, pulling back slightly to shrug his greatcoat on. She had been close enough to notice the bandages he was sure, but the ShinRa was not about to offer up any explanation for such. "Although I must admit, I'm flattered you came to see me."

A charming grin thrown her way before he straightened the lapels of his coat. Well, one had to start somewhere, after all.

"Perhaps it is because there are few I am good too?" There was a pleasant smile on her face, but her eyes noticed the bandages around him. She wasn't sure how much of him was covered by bandages, but he looked well. Either he really is well, or he was pretending to be. Still, it was not yet something to ask, so all she did was straighten her ponytail as she waited for him to put his coat on.

"Ah, time moves fast, though, when we need it." Was similar to their conversation before, which made it ironically true. "It is the least I can do, coming to see you. I enjoy our conversations very much, and I thought you may have liked a little company at the clinic. Which reminds me, how did your check up go, I hope it is good?"

"And even when we do not." He added on, lightly touching one of their last conversations. "But I am doing well, thank you. Nurse Chapel has yet to steer me wrong, and I doubt she will now."

He paused for a moment, going over what needed to be done for the day. Ah well, he was Rufus ShinRa, there was always time for him to detour, even more so when he felt something more would come out of it. "Miss Vietnam, how about we talk a walk? If the seasons run the same here, it will be unlikely that we have more days like this.]

"That is wonderful, it is good that we have such a capable health professional!" However, as she looked around the clinic, she worried that there were too few hands to assist. Medical knowledge was one of the hardest to master, after all, and not just anyone can do it.

Vietnam looked back to him mid thought, before nodding with the pleasant expression back on her face. "A walk sounds lovely, if you are not too busy, that is. I suppose we should savour this weather while we can, I do poorly in the cold."

"From a warmer climate, then?" He questioned as they stepped outside, keeping his strides to match the other and allow them to walk together. He was used to being in front and the center of attention, where is Turks and his employees are concerned, but Rufus was also used to dealing with people, a skill well polished to perfection. "It is a little hard to adapt to cold winters."

"Yes, only two seasons, wet and dry." She laughed, although there's was a twitch at her mouth as her expression looked a little uneasy. "That reminds me, with winter coming in, I need to prepare for it... Ah, I'll manage." Vietnam may have visited some of her siblings during the winter just to see the snow, but she was never able to stay for long. This winter was going to prove to be interesting. Shaking her head, pushing aside her worries for now, smiling as she noted that he shortened his strides.

"How about you, what is your home like?" This she was very curious about; not only was he from a different world, it was not Earth. Was Gaia anything like it?

He catches those murmured words, but does not press the meaning of it. Preparing is what he had been doing for some time, sketchy details of helping people, something he hasn't done in some time.

Better now to get the people to trust him then never, he guessed.

"Gaia..." He mused, hands slipping behind his back as he regarded Vietnam, unconsciously leading them in the direction of the Hotel he had claimed for ShinRa. "It has many climates, as one can expect of a world. The Northern continent seems to always be cold and snow covered, while the Eastern and Western continents seem to vary from hot summers and mild winters in the middle to cooler weather in most areas. Midgar, which was the city I spent most of my in, often had cooler winters with only a bit of snow and hot summers. The location seemed just right for it, surrounded by a wasteland."

He refers to that city in past tense, strangely enough, it gets followed up by another. "Helin was much more calm in it's weather types. I have been there for about two years now, before ending up in this place."

Vietnam followed, listening carefully, trying to put picture to his words as she fiddled with the ends of her ponytail. There seemed to be at least three continents, perhaps not as parted as Earth's continents are. However, the climate showed that it was not too different at all.

"Hot summers and mild winters sound similar to mine," She commented, "This Midgar sounds interesting, being able to have a hot summer, yet some snow in the winter! It would be interesting to see these places you speak of. Did you travel between those two a lot?"

Rufus took a moment before answering her question. Unlike most, he wasn't the type to blurt out a story all about how his world, much with his help, had nearly been destroyed by an alien summoned meteor. "Midgar was decommissioned recently," He admitted to the woman, leaving out the reasons why - lives being turned upside down as the city fell prey to the rivers Lifestream bursting forth were just something that did not need to be discussed.

One of the ShinRa President's hands slipped into the pocket of his pants, the other flicking hair back out of his face. "I took my Turks to Helin soon afterward to regroup and start again, since the ShinRa company had been based out of Midgar before that."

But this was getting him nowhere in finding out much about the woman herself. Rufus was a creature of information, always thirsty for knowledge. "But what about yourself? I'd like to take a minute or so to learn more about you, Miss Vietnam?" Of course, as always, his smile was charming as ever, and it was usually in those times in his youth, that most could see how he had become the prince...no King of his company and his world.

Vietnam's expression dropped for a moment; whenever a place, city, country, is on the verge of ruin, it effects them all. She wasn't sure if in his world, there are embodiments such as herself, but the pain one must go through, she understands perfectly.

"It must be painful, but at least you were able to regroup, you look to be doing well." She turned to looked at him; whatever is ailing him aside, he looked confident, regal, even. "May I ask, what is it that your ShinRa company specialises in?"

Now, Vietnam was not often asked to talk about herself. In fact, it's usually her asking questions about others, wishing to learn, to further herself. So she blinked before she could respond. Doesn't help that with such a charming smile, who can refuse? "Well, where would you like to start?"

"We provided power in the form of electricity to millions across the world." Painful? Perhaps, in more ways than she had thought. Recovering from his injuries had been at the forefront of his mind then, and then after that his little stint as a kidnapped political prisoner for some time after that. But, ah, back to the other topic.

"Well, you could start from the beginning. Where were you born and raised?" He asked, tone holding friendly interest to it. As much as he was used to doing the old way of things, having the information brought to him and repeated on order that he really had to do no more than chill out and relaxing and let it sink in and come up with the plans from there.

Almost amusingly enough, things had been much simpler when he was one of those types, the guys who were up to no good and made trouble for everyone's homes and neighborhood. 'Rule by fear' had been so much easier.

"Oh?" That sounds perfectly legitimate, but yet it seems he oozes power, a political one. How important was this company? "Must be a very tiring job to provide for the whole world, no?"

Vietnam didn't know which beginning to start. It wasn't like she was human, and Rufus didn't know that, which would make birthplace a little confusing. "How to start..." Her fingers were fiddling a little more, trying to think of a nice direct way of saying this without him calling her insane.

"I was born...hmm, I just came to being, a thousand years ago. Let's see, imagine back home, your country had an embodiment which looked like a human. I am such an embodiment, my full nation name is the Socialist Republic of Vietnam."

And now she waits.
