He had managed to drag Lovino along for grocery shopping, not really comfortable yet with being out and about alone in the city, even if it was just to do some shopping. It was easy enough to be cheerful when thoughts of food occupied his mind, but after having been torn apart by dog monsters in the corn maze just a week ago, the city seemed like a dangerous and hostile place all over again. You never knew when something might decide to eat you.
