It's broadcasting to the network that all the watches are connected to. People from other worlds that have been brought here have one.

[There's a little fumbling on her end, but she has the camera on again, a small smile as she greets the human. This was kind of exciting, she was meeting a human she wasn't familiar with.]

Other worlds? That sounds like a very elaborate plot, but really interesting.
