I'm afraid of this going to the Supreme Court with the new boys. Although it would only be the red states banning it, since Roe is a state's rights thing pretty much.

So I'm never having sex with men again.

Until I move to France. Did I mention that to you? I'm so not kidding.

You can bet that other states are standing by to see what happens in SD.

And with the new and lopsided composition of the Supreme Court? Who knows where woman's rights will be in just a few short years.

Incredibly frightening. HOpefully for even the most deeply apathetic. We need to kick them out of their sofas! I don't think that the majority of American's would let this happen, if they would only care/pay attention/vote/stop smoking weed 4x day.

Actually, Mississippi just followed suit. Same thing about no exceptions, too. I will try to refrain here from saying why they'd not want exceptions for incest and rape, but I realize there are still a handful of people in that fucking state who aren't inbred redneck fundie dipshits.
I'm hoping they jumped the gun. I think everyone was sort of counting on Stevens to retire so he could be replaced, too. But it's a sad sad time for women in this country.

I saw that.

Any bets on whether Mississippi or South Dakota makes it to the Supreme Court first? I guess it doesn't even matter. (hides under bed)
