My list of things I wanted to do before I die... originally posted on Completelyann in 2003
Let's up date my bucketlist....
Things to do before I die:
1. I want to make a difference in the life of a child. Done. New goal: Repeat until my heart stops beating.
2. I want to climb a mountain. Done, it was only Mount Cushman... but hey. Maybe I should try this again next summer...
3. I want to fall in love with an amazing Godly kind funny man. Not yet. I've realized that I keep my heart in a box... need to be more open.
4. I want him to fall in love with me too. Not yet, somehow the thought of this scares me more now?
5. I want to finish college. Done... I've actually taught college courses... wow. I never thought I'd have gone there back then.
6. I want to finish my Assessments homework. Obviously done. And this has been one of my most useful and applicable courses... makes School Board work easier actually.
7. I want to be a virgin until I am married then.... well that's none of your busness is it? Still on track, but I am much less inhibited now...
8. I want the freedom of my faith to remain real to me. Its a struggle sometimes... I am a rule follower trying to be ruled by Grace, not law. Keeping God's law should be a joy and out of the place of awe and peace, not fear and trembling.
9. I want to dance the tango. Done, not well and in a dance lession, but done still and even with a man, albet a stranger.
10. I want to be a missionary. Never Done. Always until my heart stops beating.
11. I want to be seen by all as I see myself. Not a chance. I want to see myself as others see me. I see myself in a distorted, even out and out false way.
12. I WANT TO BE WILD/GOOD/YOUNG/OLD/FUNNY/SERIOUS/LOVING/TRUTHFUL/COMPASSIONATE... Totally not finished =D
13. I want to have a child. NOT YET
13. I want to stop saying I want it feels so self centered. Good Night!
New Goals
1. I want to make a difference in the life of a child.
2. I want to climb a mountain.
3. I want to be open to falling in love with an amazing Godly kind funny man.
4. I want to be queen of organization with all my labels, boxes and bins that currently live only in my daydreams.
5. I want to be more purposeful in uplifting others in thought and deed.
6. I want to be a virgin when I get married and when I get married I want to be passonate, loving and adventurous sexually.
7. I want the freedom of my faith to remain real to me.
8. I want to live like a Tango.
9. I want to be fiscally disiplined.
10. I want to be a missionary.
11. I want to see myself as others see me.
12. I WANT TO BE WILD/GOOD/YOUNG/OLD/FUNNY/SERIOUS/LOVING/TRUTHFUL/COMPASSIONATE
13. I want to have a family.
14. I want to go to Scotand.
15. I want to write Children's stories.
16. I want to be able to explain the difference between joy and happiness.
17. I want to effectivly comfort the hurting when I encounter them.
18. I want to get my Christmas cards done.
