Yes it is true, as Ashley Kolack brought it to my attention yesterday during our texting conversation while i was in Natchez. The whole tourism/hospitality department at Hinds enjoyed the day off from classes to tour and visit the beautiful city of Natchez. (it was so much fucking fun! OMFG!) We left a little later than planned, but turned out ok...they only thing that sucked was that it was rainy, but daddy put new wipers on my car so i could actually see while i was driving! We stopped at Bovina so we could get snacks and fill up our tanks (cuz some of us are irresponsible...i wasn't tho, i was the only one with a full tank! go me!) After that some of the other cars lingered at the gas station and ended up getting back on the interstate when they weren't suppose to (good thing i still had payton's number) and they missed the old motor courts (which were so interesting to look at! all that was left was the foundation and the bathrooms...lol it was amazing to see how people traveled back then) and we met up with them at another gas station, then we hopped the natchez trace... we were suppose to stop at Rocky Springs to see the natchez trace ghost town, but it was muddy so we skipped that and went straight to the old south winery to tour that...it was pretty cool, but of course me, kat, and charles aren't 21 so we couldn't sample even though they never checked i.d.s?! whatever. afterwards was lunch at Dunleth Mansion Castle Restaurant...that was the best fucking meal i've ever had i think...and we got to tour the kitchen! ha! Then because we were behind we had to skip a couple of things and we went straight to the Longwood Mansion tour...which was pretty interesting and the house was so pretty...after that we could do whatever we wanted so kat, me, kazzy, and charles walked around downtown natchez to go "shopping" and they guys ended up leaving us for the boat so they could 'win us some more money to shop with' haha. Went to eat at Bowie's Tavern and they didn't fucking check i.d.s either so kat got her a appletini and i got my speciality...sex on the beach! ha! After a fantastic day i've ever had, we headed home only to stop back again at rocky springs to go see the ghost town because it had stopped raining and plus it was at night...YES! It was awesome! I told kat to take some pictures to see if anything comes out in them! That totally made my night! i love my school and our college field trips!
