I missed the window for ordering season tickets to the opera. Thanks, IRS, for not giving me my money until the summer.
So I'm buying tickets one at a time for the season. And that's fine. The cheap ($53) seats are in the second tier off to the side. I'm glad I have some opera glasses now.
I really am excited. I haven't been to an opera in years, and this will be my first time at an actual performance, rather than a dress rehearsal.
