So I totally posted this on my Myspace blog in July of 05:
so full
When Alexi Murdoch signs cds, he writes, "be fearless with your love," which is a really great message, right? But, damn, that is hard to do. Well, I suppose when you know someone and it's the easiest thing in the world to love them, then no problem. But telling them? How hard...
And should you tell them? It could break you if they don't LOVE you back, even if that's (theoretically) okay with you. But people should know that they are loved. To be able to go through a day and have the radom thought that, "this person loves me," is totally great.
And the release of telling that person would be immense. Being so full of love for someone that when you get to touch them you feel like your heart might burst from sheer joy and thinking that that would be the best way to die...it's bittersweet, I suppose.
And in one of his songs, Josh Ritter sings, "I'd rather be the one who loves than to be loved and never even know."
