Oscar update.
Overall…I’m pretty devastated. That may be a bit too dramatic. The acting awards were pretty much what I expected. The interpretive dance was ridiculous. Dolly Parton is freaking awesome.
But Crash? Really?
I’ll be the first to tell everyone to watch that movie. It’s an important movie with important themes and great performances. But it’s a movie.
Brokeback is a film. Munich is a film. Capote is a film. Judging by the reviews, I imagine Good Night and Good Luck is a film.
But Crash is a great movie.
I’m in a slump now. Thoughts of George Clooney are only helping a little.
