Ingrid is evil: I just took the nerd test. As if I hadn't already spent an hour and a half in the lab. And I only scored....16.666666666666666% nerd. sigh.
SO...I love Alexi (duh). Read his commentary on bootlegging his concerts:
"ok, i feel badly for not having spoken up sooner about the whole bootleg thingy--been busy getting the studio and all that ready for next month! (yes i'm excited) anyway, the last message on the subject is pretty accurate in terms of how i feel about the whole thing and, just so you all know, i'm so so appreciative of the consideration and respect shown in wanting to get my thoughts before sharing any of the live stuff; it's very cool of you. as far as i'm concerned i'm all for sharing recordings of live gigs--unless i really sounded like bollocks....hmm, but then i guess that's my issue! the only thing that i would request when it's possible is to be told about any tapes and maybe to get a copy...? i'm useless at downlowding and all that--i mean look how long it took me to figure out how to log in to this forum properly! and that's all really. thanks much to all for listening and sharing the music and happy new year. see you soon. love. am"
I heart him.
And hey, it turns out that Ryan Adams (my minstrel on the way to school tonight) hearts Mitch Hedberg. And will be in Seattle in March. ah.
Whoa. So I FINALLY saw Return of the King last night. Almost hurled with the excitement of seeing it and the excitement of having my elbow fondled by one of my favorite customers.
Watched Ghost Ship over the weekend. Loved the effects and misters Gabriel Byrne and Karl Urban. Which led to my seeking out info on Karl. He's dreamy. And played Cupid on Xena and Hercules. heeheehee.
Got my Darkness cd. It doesn't play in my discman. Suckage.
Kristen sent me dog haikus. Fab.
This post is lame. I'm lame. Gah.

-sleep
-eat Hot Pockets
-pine for customer
-finish Kavalier & Clay
