[Krile shuts the journal and quickly tugs a handkerchief out of her pocket, wiping her eyes and blowing her nose. It's a good thing Crochet's day off is today... she'd have been embarrassed otherwise, but there isn't anything for it.

It had been devastating when Nova vanished, regardless of the fact that Krile had been five and unable to do anything but cry. Now that she's back, Krile just can't stop smiling. It's true that Edensphere isn't a great place to return to, but it's such a relief to know that her friend is back and remembers.]

[Nova probably shouldn't have been running as fast as she was through the sphere, since she was dodging around pedestrians at every turn and someone in less of a hurry might've scolded her for being reckless. In the elevator, she stared at the level numbers intently and bounced on the balls of her feet until the door opened before peeling out again.

Everything was exactly as she remembered it. Which, granted, wasn't saying much since she only felt as if she'd been gone for a few moments. Still, it was nice that she was able to take all the usual routes to get to the weapons shop in a hurry.

When she arrived, Nova might've knocked the door off its hinges if she'd been any more excited. It was funny, because Krile was the last person that she'd seen, and even though virtually no time had passed in her mind, just knowing that her friends had been without her for months in real time made it feel like an eternity had passed without them.]

[As soon as the bell on the door rings Krile rushes towards her friend. Apart from the newborn clothing, she doesn't look any different than she did the moment she vanished. It's almost hard to believe she was gone and all.

Almost.

She grabs Nova in a huge hug, smiling ear-to-ear even though her eyes are starting to swim again.]

Nova! It's really you--I'm so happy!

[Nova returns the hug just as eagerly. Part of her feels sadness; she never meant to cause her friends any pain, even inadvertently. But she knows they aren't upset with her, only glad that she's returned and that she remembers them all. That's a relief, at least.]

I'm happy, too! I'm sorry I was gone so long.

Don't be silly--it's not your fault. I'm just glad that you remember us all.

[She sighs, but not sadly. It's such a relief to know that Nova seems okay. And even if there's something she has forgotten, surely Krile or one of Nova's other friends will be able to help her remember what it was. And she hasn't been gone so long that many other people have gone too.

Giving Nova a final squeeze, Krile lets go and looks her up and down.]

So how do you feel? Just like your normal self? Oh--and you'll need all of your things, too! Like your journal and your necklace.

[Those have been in Krile's box of mementos since February, but Krile's kept all of Nova's belongings. She's been able to make herself put it all away and turn Nova's room back into an unoccupied bedroom, but there had been no reason to get rid of them.]

Even if I'd forgotten you somehow, I'm sure we'd still become friends again. Because we're in each other's hearts.

I feel just fine! A-okay! Everything seems just fine, from what I can tell. [Nova is relieved to know that all of her things are still at the old homestead. She'd put a lot of effort into procuring those things, after all, and her necklace was a special gift. Her hand reaches for her throat, feeling the absence of the heavy pendant.] Thanks for keeping my stuff. I hope it wasn't inconvenient for you?

Yeah, that's true. A little amnesia couldn't change that.

[Krile is beaming from ear-to-ear now and sets her hands on Nova's shoulders. She can believe Nova about that.] Good! It's easier to get back on your feet if you're all in one piece. And it wasn't any trouble. [The smile falters a little bit.] I--well I didn't want to get rid of it... good thing I didn't, huh?
