Sure. She's intelligent, so I wasn't just going to call her "plant." Having a name is good. She's already responding to it, too!

Nah, she's not all bad! She's just a bit tetchy. With a little training, I'm sure she'll just get nicer and nicer!

It is often true that the wild creatures we believe to be tame are the ones who can cause the greatest harm. Be cautious. There is no telling what is on such a creature's teeth.

I'll keep that in mind! I've put her in a bigger pot so she can't drag herself around with her tentacles. I keep expecting her to shoot lasers or fireballs at me, or something like that, but so far she's just tried to eat things she shouldn't.

Refraining to take one opportunity to attack the hands that feed it is not a guarantee that it will always refrain.

She ate my hairbrush, and a water bottle. But first she poured the water on herself. I'd watered her a few minutes prior, but I guess it wasn't enough.

I must assume that it takes nutrients in through mouth and roots both. Perhaps you should endeavor to find if it cares for fertilizer.
