**Reposted from a while ago**
A long time ago, when I was looking for the Kanji lyrics for Just a Survivor [from Sukisho, sung by Suzuki Tatsuhisa] I found a site that I thought had them. Not quite. To understand what I found you need to know 2 things.
- Having Kanji is useful as Japanese has homophones too and Kanji can be used to distinguish them (i.e. "Koi" (こい) has almost 10 meanings, among them "passion" and "carp". But 恋 only means passion and 鯉 only means carp.)
- When typing Japanese on an english computer you type the word on the keyboard (which is then rendered as Hiragana), hit the space bar, and it changes to a Kanji rendering. You're suppose to make sure this is the correct one and, if not, hit the space bar again. It changes to another one and opens a list of all the Kanji that can be used.
As I started working on the song I realized that what the person typing up the lyrics did was just type in the lyrics and use the first Kanji that came up. This resulted in some very special lyrics. (And a few typos too.)

[Ignoring the random "nu"] You taught me there was a babysitter that couldn't be touched alone.
Phonetic Lyrics:
wakeaeru koto ga dekiru nara
Proper Kanji Lyrics:

Correct Translation:
It'll quickly disappear, don't look away! In that moment...
Crack Kanji Lyrics:

Approximate Translation:
*These shouldn't be Kanji, it's like sticking random words into the middle of sentences.*

Moral: When typing up Japanese, always double check the Kanji.
