So in my Shiota grimoire/textbook more like it, I've professed the possibility of using music for magic.

I have to do all I can to reassure myself I'M MAKING THIS UP.

Put enough thought into a fictional setting that you had to step back and realize you're making it up, and there's no need for "wait did I get that right?"

Oh. Yes. All the time, with Running In Her Veins. It's even worse there, because I'm doing revisionist real-world history, so I forget that my version of history isn't real.
