happy march day!

spring is, if not in the air, then definitely waiting just around the corner...such a dirty little tease...

am experiencing my habitual sunday afternoon body/brain death after another demented week. I see a pattern forming...

for the first time in my life I decided to embrace fashion week with a passion, on monday attending one Ms Rachel Freire's glorious debut collection which was breathtaking and very proud-making for all those who were in attendance, although it was all over far too quickly - I was hissing: "can't they make the models go slower?!!" as they sprinted down the catwalk...then on tuesday I went to see the Emma Bell show, which was colourful and bonkers, with fab make-up and had the freaky identical twins from Big Brother in Nu-Rave clubwear, tottering the runway with little rat-dogs in on leashes! I have decided that I rather likes fashion week...it's like a fancy dress shop, Heat magazine and surrealist theatre all rolled into one!

spent the rest of the week having a million meetings involving a million different very exciting new projects, interspersed with some healthy (or not so healthy) bouts of partying. on wednesday went to see one Ms Bitz's solo show and for the second time that week found my little black heart fluttering in my chest as the lights went down and then swelling with pride as they went up at the end, as I marveled again at my talented friends. sometimes...I think we all just rock.

on thursday had a very fun and drunken meeting with my evil wife Marcella and little Miss Stah about our brand new Space Rock-themed venture (shhh)...Miss Stah managed to escape relatively early, but me and Mr Limits were not so wise and some hours and several bottles of white wine later, found me hugging a bus stop in Notting Hill Gate paralysed with the hiccups and unable to speak.

woke up the next day convinced I was dying, but somehow managed to rally and continue my meeting marathon and even managed to resurrect myself for long enough to attend Rasp Thorne's Sermon To The Apocalypse that evening at the Bethnal Green WMC, where I had a lovely time catching up with all my little Ghost Train buddies and assorted Laundrettas.

yesterday was Kabzy's 40th (!!) b-day which involved a get-together of all the old West London reprobate gang for a boozy lunch at Galicia, followed by a champagne-sozzled baking session and drunken sing-song at Gaz's, before it was onto a party at the Smash yard under the Westway for a knees-up round a burning car bonnet - hurrah!

today I feel mostly run over, but as I can still type am apparently still alive. think I'm gonna knock booze on the head for a couple of days and get my internal organs back together so I can get on with the whole business of world domination...but first sunday lunch The Baroness and a nice cup of tea!
