so the folks were in town last week. i love them. i havent yet proposed to them to adopt me but i think i am making pretty good headway. we took them to the firing range and it was just awesome. the mom said that she was so scared she had to keep checking for the 'golden puddle' on the ground under her. we took them to the getty. totally bitchen. i had a very good time and ate far too much good food. we are going to drive out there in a couple of months to suprise them. it is good for the boy for them to come visit us because everytime he goes back to OK he is depressed for like a week afterwards. it is a dire and depressing place i must admit. of course not all of my childhood friends are married pregnant adicted to meth and going no where. not yet at least.
the boy is up to something sneaky i can tell. i have no evidence and no idea what it actually is but i dont think that it is good. lately things have been awesome with us and that is kinda scary. Neither of us is very good or comfortable with being happy. i think things are going so well because our schedules are so differnt that we hardly ever see each other. and when we are together we are usually working on some project around the house and that doesnt leave much time or room for bickering and silently hating each other. we have the most awesome showerheads now. it is so ludicrous. i am going to have to post pictures. but for now you just have to witness my badassedness.
