i put up some pictures of my beautiful friends in the office, which i love to look at throughout the day. i think photos of friends look nicer than, say, the decorations in the outer office from mine, which are wildlife shots cut from calendars. i do love the one that is outside the office door, however. i ponder its deep mystery every day, because i have no idea what its purpose was or is supposed to be. it's white with green lettering, and this is exactly what it says:

all caps, then regular case. no idea. but i like it.
