Ending

I am happy with the way things turned out,
just sad that it ended.
my breath is lost in my chest
and my heart is on the floor.
so many interesting experiences;
so many unexpected twists;
so much work...
just to end abruptly.
I know something new awaits,
but the old has not yet left me completely.
