Beauty

no special dress;
just a little color on the face;
and gentle instruction;
I felt beautiful today.

I had my senior pictures taken today.
of course I wore make-up;
no special clothing (just one of my favorite tops);
hair down.
the photographer was amazing.
he softly adjusted my hair and my necklace;
he kindly told me how to move.
I have never felt more beautiful
and I don't know why.
I have dressed up for many occasions,
formals especially...
but never have I felt so beautiful as I did for those 15 minutes.
