[& Metrocon pictures!]

First off there's the boys (and Amber):

and me finding a Shepard!

My costume took longer than I expected but I loved it. I wish I had planned better when it came to things sticking (many thanks to Amber who kept me all together) but I was happy with it. I wasn't expecting the reaction I got--I was stopped every 20 feet or so which happened last year with C'thulhu--because it's usually more anime than video games. You know, minus Kingdom Hearts. God I hate Kingdom Hearts.

Also I like MLP but seriously. Seriously. That was *a lot* of ponies. O.O

Sorry, one last picture. Of course I saw things wrong but I was pretty proud of it. Never did armor before but it was rewarding. Also cosplaying my favorite character from my second favorite game of all time made me happy.

The only thing that could've made the day better was getting more sleep before hand and not fixing people's costume the morning of (Not Lorem's, I love him and he let me know). But I'll be better prepared next time.

Now...next year...

Yes, I am already planning for next year. I did it with C'thulhu, kay? :D

First thing I thought of was Gabranth from Final Fantasy:

But I am hesitant to play a character from a game I hadn't really played. Granted I did play FFXII so it's still on the table.

Pros: Looks cool. No special joints required.
Cons: Still can't see. Limited range of motion.

Second of course was Garrus again but this time from Mass Effect 3:

Pros: I already have the head and neck done. Garrus is awesome and my woobie.
Cons: I just did it. And it's a bit intricate.

Then I remembered one of my favorite anime's Appleseed. Barry!

Pros: Not normally found at cons, ease of range of motion.
Cons: Still can't see. At all.

I saw enough Thors for it to make me angry but I'm not ripped enough for that. Maybe later.

I'm leaning towards Briareos because he looks cool. I really don't want to play a character with an exposed face and I feel...uncomfortable playing a female. Call it weird but I like big armored things.

Ok, now I have to go back to work later this morning. Joy.

Good Night and Good Luck
