The Controversial Survey

01. Do you have the guts to answer these questions and re-post as The Controversial Survey? Yes.

02. Would you do meth if it was legal?
Hell no. Meth is really dangerous no matter how you slice it.

03. Abortion: for or against it?
I'm torn. I think that at the moment of conception, it's life and should be respected, but then a friend of mine had an abortion. And I understood why she did it and that she didn't do it for fun or for any simple reason. The jury is still out on that one...

04. Do you think the world would fail with a female president?
Hell no.

05. Do you believe in the death penalty?
The deal penalty should only be administered in cases where the existence of the murderer is still threatening other lives even from his jail cell or by breaking out of jail. Life is one of our most prized possessions and should be treated with more respect than the current death penalty gives it.

06. Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
No. Marijuana's not all that useful and while it's one of the least dangerous drugs, it still has risks that aren't worth the benefits.

07. Are you for or against premarital sex?
That's a personal decision. In my case, I will probably have extramarital sex and/or premarital sex. It's about when you're ready and whether or not your responsible and what you believe is right for you. No one should force anyone else to either have or not have premarital sex.

08. Do you believe in God?
Yes. His name is Zeus, Osiris, Horus, Hermes, Dionisus, etc. Her name is also Isis, Athena, Hera, Aphrodite, etc. But that's just my version. What's yours?  :D

09. Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?
YES!!! How fucking ridiculous is it to make love and committment illegal?

10. Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the USA?
Yes. The problem needs to be solved at it's root. Stop shooting people who are crossing the border to get the rights that their own country should be giving them. Figure out how to make their country worth living in.

11. A twelve year old girl has a baby, should she keep it?
That's up to her and her caregivers. As a 12 year old cannot legally work, she must have someone else's support in raising the child. She herself is probably not fully developed yet either, so she needs a lot of help. If she has that kind of support, she can keep the child, if not, she needs to get that support or give the baby up for adoption.

12. Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen?
I don't know. Alcohol education needs to be focused on more than abstinence from alcohol, that's for sure.

13. Should the war in Iraq be called off?
I have no clue. I don't understand most of what's going on there and I don't trust most of the people who try to explain it.

14. Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree?
Yes, I think assisted suicide should be illegal. Whatever state you're in you can manage to commit suicide if you really want to. I do, however, believe in DNRs (Do Not Resucitate) as valid. I think suicide is a horrible thing, but then again, there may be some reasons for it. Though even IF that's true, it should be an absolute last resort and only in extreme cases. No matter what, though, I do not agree with the legalization of assisted suicide.

15. Do you believe in spanking your children?
I was spanked a very little bit as a child and I don't feel at all bitter about it. It's a form of discipline that should be used rarely and with caution.

16. Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars?
Aren't you supposed to burn a flag if it falls on the ground? I don't know maybe I'm confusing that with something else. But if that's not what you're supposed to do when a flag falls on the ground then no. Though you may want to ask me again if I ever find myself with a child who needs a million dollar life-saving operation.

17. Who do you think would make a better president? McCain or Obama?
Due to an odd and complex set of circumstances, I was not allowed to vote and so I didn't research the candidates. *shrug* I guess we'll find out, won't we?

18. Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
I hope they do. People confuse "judge" with "bully" and "prejudice". They're not the same thing. You should definitely make judgements about people or you'll wander through life with no convictions. What you should not do is base your judgments on weak or ridiculous arguments or place your judgment of a particular person above their basic human rights.
