Hello. Again. It's been awhile.
Perhaps because I'm happy at Wellesley. Love my classes, love my friends, love my life. Love the B's I earn and the weight I gain. Without love, there's only misery.
That being said -- I'm applying to go abroad next year, knowing that I won't get into either program and will stay here, live in Lake House, and drink too much. Love love love. I'm desperately trying to go to Yale as a visiting student and do architecture and study political philosophy and live with law students. The other choice would send me around the world to study architecture and Urban Planning. The itinerary: NYC, Rio, Shanghai, Beijing, Auckland. The benefit: collecting stamps on my passport, the passport the German border police laughed at because I have long purple hair in my photo. Love love love.
I need to write a book for the first-years called, "How I killed Wendy Wellesley and found eternal happiness". I've decided that this will be my last year of involvement with student orgs. I'm done with pointless e-board meetings and bullshit programming. Team 423 is better than any SOAC-approved organization, thank you very much. I'm done trying to please everyone. I'm done with the GPA-whoring -- credit/non is a girl's best friend. I'm done with politics. I refuse to intern in DC or on a campaign or with some partisan hack. It's time to indulge the aesthete and do architectural restoration. Summer goal: archaelogical dig.

I'll be here for Wintersession, studying German at MIT and learning to make wood furniture. I'll have a big, cozy room all to myself that needs visitors. Come.
I need to hear from the following people: Alana, Jenny, Ecce. Oh Ecce, I miss you! Live with us next semester on our futon. Store your shoes under my uber-lofted bed. Spoon!
