Down in the news
Much needed rest last night. It was a seedy hotel out on skid row but the night guy was super nice. The buzzer was broken out of the door and there was an ambulance emergency in the back of the hotel when we got there. Very Law and Order:SVU. Slept like a baby though. Today was me FREAKING OUT about work while the patient recovers from surgery 1 and prepares for surgery 2. We've found a much better waiting area where I've plugged in my laptop to work remotely. Calling in tomorrow though, now that my boss is aware and I'm comfortable that he won't hold it against me. Electric outlets are a premium. I've got 35 minutes until quitting time then it's a search for real food.
