Omg this turned out to be such a long reply... I had to break it into 2 parts

Also let the record show that I just don't tend to like anthologies that much. I have no idea why I keep buying them :/

The Devil's Secret - On the subject of Hinako Takanaga, uhhhh I own everything she's got out in the US (even Challengers). She is my absolute favorite mangaka. I looooove her art. I'm only selling my Japanese copy of The Devil's Secret because I recently got it in English. It's a bit smuttier than some of her other works, but really really cute like always. The Devil/Priest storyline has 2-3 chapters and then there's 2 other cute shorts by her.
Mr. Fower Bride - This one's actually been sold already. It went quickly!
Love Song for the Miserable - This one's got a great angsty story, with plenty of cute humor. The art was okay, well done, but the style seemed a bit off to me -- I think maybe the eyes had a pointed slant to them I didn't like. (why so picky?!) I was happy to read it and everything, I just have a lack of shelf space and had to make cuts somewhere.
Temperature Rising - I actually really like this one. It's really cute and well put together, with lots of smutty sex and stuff. She also did Right Here Right Now which I adore. I will say her art tends toward "chunky" and I prefer slender, proportioned bodies. That's an extremely minor quibble considering the strength of the book otherwise, and her art is actually nice once you get used to it
Falling Into Love, His Arrogance - So Falling into Love is about a superstar model Tomohito and another model at the same company who admires him. There's also 2-3 extra unrelated short stories. His Arrogance is about Tomohito's little brother, Ryou, and a rising-star model, Ito. Ryou is pretty cute, I liked his character. The art is very crisp and detailed, too.
Black Winged Love - A collection of stories that are superbly told, they felt more like a literary short story collection with a theme of homosexuality than a typical yaoi manga. Very light on the romance and lots of angst. The art is unusual, but in a good way. I just don't tend to like anthologies that much though.
You & Me, Etc - I have this on hold for a trade, but it's still up in the air. I super liked the art in this one, really crisp and detailed, with super expressive features. Also, school boys, and despite being an old married lady I love me some adorable high school boys. (what? omg) 2-3 chapters with the You & Me Etc storyline and a few extra stories, all of them pretty good.
Alichino - These are actually a friend's that I'm selling on her behalf, so I don't know much about them. The art is super pretty though!
Love Hurts - So I love Suzuki Tanaka, her art is always amazing. This collection is really good, too, although a bit dark and not very lovey-dovey (although one tale does have a note of whimsy to it, about the childhood friends who have psychic powers). I've had it for several years but just recently decided I'm not that crazy about it after all.
A Place in the Sun - Soooo cute. The art reminds me a bit of Hetalia, with big soft faces and cute little eyes. The title story, A Place in the Sun, is actually the last one in the pack. There's 3 or so chapters of a different story, about a young man and a garbage collector, that's really sweet and totally adorable. I bought this one on a whim, and I liked it, I just didn't love it.
When the Heavens Smile - Very good art in this one, a nice collection of stories with a good thread of emotion and such. Honestly it's been forever since I read it. Another one of those "well, I liked it, but I didn't love it" kind of things.

I don't even know... I totally got this message second, lol. So my response is going to be out of order. XD

Hm... I'm sort of with you on anthologies. I can like them and I can hate them, lol. I know I at least want the two doujinshi I mentioned before (the One Piece and the Naruto)... I'll try to see if I want any of the books for sure though. I always get kind of "can take it or leave it" about some things and end up getting rid of it later, lol. *does not want this to happen again*

Weird question, hope it doesn't offend or anything... But are you interested in gay fiction too? I have some books I was thinking of selling off.

(conversation... merge!)

Frozen Teardrop ... okay, so. Heero gets cryogenically frozen for, like, 20 years. Code name Sleeping Beauty gets revived and, I dunno, fights crime or whatever, I don't care. Here's the fucked up thing, from a 1x2 fangirl point of view: Duo marries Hilde and they have a son, named Duo Maxwell Jr (who looks exactly like 15-year-old Duo from GW) Duo later divorces Hilde or she dies or, whatever, and he becomes a priest. So you have Father Duo Maxwell, 35 years old, and Duo Maxwell Jr, 15 years old, and 15 year old Heero Yuy, and, oh my god. My brain exploded.

Which One Piece doujinshi? I have 2 listed, a regular sized one and then the large 100+ page one.

I read gay fantasy and some gay historical fiction, no offence taken at the offer! I don't really read contemporary gay fiction, unless one of them is a wizard or something... but what books do you have?

Awesome powers are awesome! :D

Oh man maybe I don't want to read that. I mean... The thought of them getting older makes me want to cry already, but isn't Duo supposed to be some kind of Catholic? How can he get married or ugh wthhhhhh so not into those love triangle things, especially not something like that. *not into borderline pedophilia/May/September romances* ;^;

I didn't even notice that that was Luffy. You win. XD
I guess I'd be interested in both of them then, lol. The first one looks really cute. Did they eat something and turn into kids by accident?

I have a book with 3 stories of vampires if you're interested. It's called Midnight Hunger and the stories are: Blood on the Moon (Todd Gregory), Land of the Midnight Sun (Chase Masters) and The Dark Heart (Sean Wolfe). S'got lotsa smuts tho, lol.

Like I said, Frozen Teardrop is total crack.

I actually have no idea what any of the doujinshi are about (heh!) since I don't read a word of Japanese.

I will pass on the vampire book for now. I have a smutty gay vampire book on the shelf to read at the moment, actually... wut.

So how's for the trade my three doujinshi for Don't Worry Mama, Fire Emblem, and one of your A5 Japanese Notebooks (specifically the one on the far left with the square design). That should work out even, assuming I can add.

You're making me so nostalgic for GW gag doujinshi. I have to start buying some because they're so crazy. But hey, at least you can look at the pictures and pretend you understand, right? Right. And then you are completely wrong after haha

Hahaha is vamp-smut some kind of not-so-secret craze? That makes me think of the mommy-porn fanfic lady, lol. Is it wrong if I want plot with my smuts? XD

For the notebook, you mean the purple one? Sure we can trade the three and that should be an even trade. :)

I have to dig out Fire Emblem and the notebook since those two are in storage. If you can accept PMs we can exchange addresses. :)

I love plot with my smuts, haha. Check out Jordan Castillo Price -- she writes some super awesome m/m fiction. Her vampire book is called Channeling Morpheus for Scary Mary, and it's way better than the title makes it seem.

And that is indeed the correct notebook!

Go ahead and PM me your address. I'll get the doujinshi packed up for shipping. Media rate + tracking okay with you? That way we can swap tracking numbers afterward as well.

Lol okay, I'll check it out. So long's they're not glittery haha. Somehow I've ended up with a lot of vampire books and I keep getting mad at different vampire lore/realities if I disagree with it. *is too serious about vamps*

Okie doke, yep that's cool. Can you just make sure to pad everything good? :) Media mail gets banged up pretty bad on the way to me. ^^;; I'll armor plate your stuff too, lol.

Hey... I got the books. ^^ The Flying Whale book got a bit dinged up on the top and bottom of the spine tho... It's the only one that dinged so I don't know if it was like that ahead of time. I love FWitS though.

The Naruto one is funny. It's a parody of Takeshi's Castle which is a crazy Japanese game show where you launch an assault go through a giant funhouse castle in a huge mass of people and get assaulted by crazy things... Like you have to find the real door by slamming your body into different doors (some of them aren't real and some are booby trapped so you get attacked and chased by a person or a samurai boxing lobster...). But yeah, just so you understand. XD

Er and the other One Piece is them eating one of Usopp's crazy experiments again and everyone d'awwing over them as kids (and wanting them to stay that way) Angry kid Zoro is soooo adorable. XDDD

In any case, I don't have any boxes that can fit the books. :/ My dad tossed the ones in that size.. The ones I have left are either HUGE or about 1/2 inch too small so I can either send the things in an envelope or a box that may be just a bit too small or a lot huge. Let me know what you would like to do.

The envelopes I have are big too but I can try folding them or something. The boxes are like 2-3x bigger than the stuff I have to send you. >.>

Nevermind, I'm just going to reuse your box and tape everything down. It's the smallest of the big boxes, lol.
Your tracking number... 9102150134711413625817

Just let me know when you get it! :D

ugh, this is like the 3rd time I've tried to post a comment, so hopefully I haven't just... like... totally spammed you. My internet at home has been super shoddy since I got back from my brother's wedding /slash/ in-law family reunion "vacation" ... where I didn't even have cell service, let alone internet. Aaahhh.

BUT. I'm so sorry to hear one of the DJ got banged up! DDD: I thought for sure I'd armor-plated the box to the point of invincibility. Don't worry at all about the packaging/box delay thing, especially since I was unreachable anyway. I am -__- total fail, apparently.

No this is the first one I've gotten. Darn LJ!!!
And the wedding. It was obviously a very complex conspiracy to conspire against you.

Well I just checked the tracking and it said to expect delivery on the 27th so... It's still coming, lol.
The damage wasn't too bad, but yeah it happened. It must have slid or something. ^^;;
