Schonen Tag

In the morning, as usual, I ran to the bus stop to find the bus is really almost nearly going. The door is already closed. Of course as usual I increased my running speed, hop to the recently opened again bus door, grinning so big with "Danke schoen", reaching my pocket for my buscard...but surprise surprise! The driver said I don't have to! He recognized me!

Gosh!!

I mean...... Gosh!

That is my first time contact with a total German stranger! Being recognized by bus 3 A driver, how big is the chance for that?
Well, of course my chance is indeed a bit bigger since not everyone is too punctual to run every morning for the bus 3 A right a few secinds before it is about to leave.
Anyway, das ist toll!!!
and, still impressed, before I got off the bus I stepped toward him first : "Danke schoen, Tchuss, Schonen tag!"

He didn't reply. So i make my way to the middle door feeling a bit awkward, but then he turn at me and said "Schon!" (or at least that what I thought I heard) with a big smile! apparently he was still busy stopping the bus when I said it in the first place. He also return my smile as I passed him walking to the next bus stop.

Such a lovely day!

Not finished yet!

I passed the backerei where I bought my kaese-brotchen yesterday. The owner is standing outside.Still full of spirit I said "Guten morgen!". "Morgen!", he replied back with smile.

Schonen Tag, stimmts? ;)
