What I did today, let's see born 9/28/81. 26 times 365 is (gets pen n paper). I've been alive about 9600 days. So

struck with that thought I've forgotten what I might have said

Overslept, and missed Equal Employment class. Bit of confusion on that head. You see, some mysterious cause set my cell phone back an hour. So, panic and dismay at seeing 10:45 subsided when my cell phone read 9:45. I opted for the earlier and better in the time discrepancy for the following reasons (1) that, cord having been pulled out accidentally, I had reset the time on the alarm clock, making me think I might have messed it up (2) I had an excuse then not to rush.

So, caught bus, got off three stops after mine on University because with the fictional hour saved I had time to drop laptop - which had kicked it the other night - off at Doit helpdesk. That's University of Wisconsin's name for their computer help. Not sure what it stands for? Department of Information Technology. Guess DoIT sounds better than DIT. One is inspirational, yes DOIT (Do It), other sounds like what you'd call an idiot.

So at this point still under impression that it was an hour earlier than it actually was, rushed up Dayton to University and up the stairs to the law school, to find that law school clock said it was 11:45, not 10:45. Should have known. Fuck.

So, from there, to College Library to renew the loaner laptop I need since mine is dead. Actually what I was really doing was extending the return deadline, because I'm going to be in Chicago on Sunday (deadline was 11pm Sunday), so renewing it bought me a day, when it will be more convenient to return it because I'll be at law school and College Library is just around the corner, down the hill off Park Street.

Discovered a cafe in College Library. Fuck the law school is the worst building on campus, officially now, especially since the meager little snack stand closed. Anyhow, cafe in college library is nice. Union sandwiches, same ones served in the union, same coffee, same stuff they have in the Union, I mean Memorial Union. Had something or other over the course of a few others of writing emails and attending to other business. Left a nasty taste in my mouth. Puh.

Got a pathetic start on some TnE. Out of cigarettes, losing concentration abilities, slipped outside twice to see if I could buy one off someone. No luck. Got stuff together and left. Down State Street to Walgreen for pack. Then to Fair Trade. Where I am now, having had espresso, cigarette outside in the cold, and finished TnE homework for the week.
