i was reading this letter earlier by heywelcomehome, and omg. it was just so beautiful. and a lot of wat he wrote is so completely true, its weird. like:
"How does a man simmer down the
cosmic creation of a volcano? How does a woman simmer down the infinite
warmth of the sun?? With a simple request? Was his love a true, lasting
love? Or was it simply an infatuation that could be easily simmered down
to a friendship upon request?"
that is so true. you cant just stop loving someone and become their friend, when your in love with someone thats impossible. unless your really not inlove with them, but you THOUGHT you were. then its a different story.
I really like this too:
"Its strange, my love for you has made me feel better about life than
I've felt in years. If you are not here with me now, then I must come
realize that is how destiny meant it be and I should not wish for
anything more."
but i think i like this one the most:
There is a greek proverb that says:
"It's not good for all of our wishes to be fulfilled. Through sickness,
we recognize the value of health; through evil, the value of good;
through hunger, the value of food; through exertion, the value of rest."
He made a really good point with this one. you cant have everything, bcuz then we REALLY wouldnt be able to appreciate things.
But out of all of those things that i posted this one stands out the most. and this is extremely true:
There are so many things that need to be considered. Jobs, medical costs, the costs and availabity of her nursing schools (as you know not all twons have nearby nursing schools), transportation costs (which I detailed are already an issue) college loans, people's feelings and definitely things such as what a person's family has to think of the whole relationship and a whole lot of other issues. These are all issues that have always stopped people throughout time from getting together, even though they really want to be together. Some people even stay in a bad relationship simply because they are scared to get into another relationship or they are scared that all the time they put into their current relationship will just be wasted time (said that bcuz the girl that he loves lives a cross the country and she's with another guy. and bcuz of all the reasons that he just mentioned its really hard for them to be together, especially since she prolly doesnt love him the same way. hence the part that she's with another guy)
anyway...this is really true. bcuz many relationships end bcuz of something stupid, like a family member not liking the person that you love. or there not being any way for you two to be together, bcuz it seems like everything in the world is keeping both of you apart from eachother.
anyway. i just felt like sharing this with you guyz bcuz it was REALLY beautiful. and i didnt post the whole letter bcuz it was just WAY too long and i knew that none of you would actually read it. so i just kept that to myself. lol. if you do want to read it just go and check that persons lj out. wow...this was a long post. well i'll talk to you all later. bye! ♥♥
