I'm off this whole upcoming week because of Thanksgiving. I'm really happy to be headin' back home to big Birmingham to be with my family and celebrate. This year I have a lot to be thankful for. My album hasn't dropped yet and I have no idea how well it will do or not do, but I am really blessed. I've had such an amazing year. I haven't let everything change me. I'm really proud of myself for that. People try to make you do things you really don't wanna do, make you into something you aren't, etc. I hope everyone reading this understands how thankful they should be just for life. Most of you reading are famous celebrities and have a grip of cash. Be thankful that you have a good job, people who love you, and whatever else. People who are reading this but aren't famous, be thankful for not being famous. LOL. Naw, seriously. Be thankful for anything. We often take things for granted. Just let the man above know that you appreciate what he does for each one of us daily.
Clay & I performed on the AMA's a week ago or so. I kinda felt weird singin' the "Superstar" song while Clay was singin' his new material. I think I should have sung some of my new stuff. My management really didn't want that though because they wanted me to sing somethin' that people KNEW & possibly LIKED. They didn't wanna take a risk and let me sing some new things people never heard before. Whatever though. The performance went really well I think. Clay did amazing and I think I did iight. We got a standing ovation. That was cool but I think everyone stood up for Clay only. He he.
