Tonight I taught myself the basic theories of suction.

Tonight I stayed in and watched Poseidon. The movie itself was quiet meh however watching how the ship sunk in relation to various changes in compartmental pressure made me think that with a little bit of tinkering and a combination of using a water pump (the original plan) plus the gravity syphon I'm currently using, I just might be able to achieve the continuous water circuit that I think my air conditioning project sorely needs.

Finally the dream has been realized.

1 20L Bucket, 4 Blocks of Tupperware Ice to act as coolant, 1 100GPH water pump (used to squirt water out of those frog statues people have in their lawn ponds) + the basic principles of gravity and suction = 1 damn sweet A/C.

Sorry about the quality, I think I'm the only person without a digital camera. So these come from my cellphone....

The power of the pipes! I kind of rushed this part since it was realllllly hot when I was building it, so you'll notice the pipes don't touch the back of the cage at certain points. That's not very efficient.

The circuit. I'm probably going to trim the tubing to cut down on travel distance and unnecessary heat transfer.

The black cord is the pump. Notice the two clear tubes going into the bucket, that's the beauty of the circuit.

Condensation means heat transfer. Thumbs up!
