what imdb says: Holed up in Bruges, Belgium after a difficult job, two hit men begin to differ on their views of life and death as they become used to local customs.
- This movie was hilarious, and dark and awesome. Martin McDonagh is a genius. I had read his play The Pillowman in school last semester and had no idea that he did this until somebody told me to watch it. He's just so clever.
- The give and take between Ray and Ken is sort of hysterical. They're like an old married couple. And I seriously cannot get over how ridiculous Ralph Fiennes can be. His character is awesome
- This movie has more cursing in it than any movie ever. Probably. Okay, well that's probably untrue. But this is: The word 'fuck' and its derivatives are said 126 times in this 107-minute film, an average of 1.18 'fucks' per minute. (IMDB for the win).
- Clemence Poesy was sort of annoying in this, buy a far cry from how annoying Fleur is in HP
- Speaking of HP (3 DAYS!!!), three actors in this movie are in that one. Fleur, Voldy, and Mad Eye Moody. Crazy awesome.
- I typically love action movies. It's actually really strange because I also can be very easily won over by the cheesiest of romantic comedies. Anyway, this movie is epic, and people die and there's blood and guts and a chase scene. So, it's a win.
- I'm actually really pissed that I didn't see this at the beginning of the school year. What the hell was I thinking?
- Anddd finally, after seeing this movie, I dare you to not love saying "fuckin' Bruges" all the time. And in the accent is even better. Fuckin' Bruges.
As an added bonus! A youtube video compilation of all the cursing in Bruges :)
