I actually dreamt of nocona last night. Pretty amusing, as I did see at least 2 of the main characters, and there was something about crashing the TARDIS into a street sign. Unfortunately (or fortunately, as I wouldn't have remembered), my fiancee woke me up when she stubbed her toe, which put me into Emergency Panic Mode / Core Dump for a little while.
I would like to thank La Nina for creating September conditions (hot-but-not-too-hot, 80-F-degrees-highish, sky as clear as anything, fire danger) in the middle of the cold rainy season. This year we've had exactly one rain event, and since then... mostly not a cloud in the sky.
Quite frustrating for someone who looks forward to the rain.
