Good luck!

And I'm still waiting, eagerly, for more thoughts on "The Project". Or are we at the point where I have to start producing?

I've been kept awake at night thinking about how to prevent an accounting system from being broken entirely. The result of breakage would probably be my removal from the company, regardless of whether any of it is particularly my fault. This is in addition to at least three people that I consider to be good friends breaking down.

I'm attempting to suppress my panicky instincts in the belief that everything will work out in the end, even if it means wrecking normal accounting procedures.

Unfortunately this has somewhat precluded my other normal, natural cynical and/or fetishy responses. Although I'm starting to feel macro again, which may result in something.

I had one or two pieces come up yesterday but I didn't consider them of proper quality. I had half an idea about running a parody of Sly Cooper starting skunk, rabbit, and psychedelic weasel, but I'm not sure that it makes sense to be using the weasel in that way.

Do you have enough to work with to start things?

Owch. I haven't met an accounting system yet that I liked. (The work system, on discovering I was getting my vacation pay along with my last week, decided I must be in a $80,000++ bracket, and tried to take about 40% for taxes. It tasks me, Orcachim!

If I'm one of those three, please fret not. I have completed regeneration and am myself again. As it were. We're all me, you see. I.. appear to have integrated a bit. Must chat with you about that some time.

Although I'm starting to feel macro again, which may result in something.

BIG TIME! You're on your way, you're making it.

Oh, I've had enough for weeks. I just love watching you work. You're a sight to behold. Yay team rubberorca!!! (snugs)

There is apparently a graphics card glitch with it. I don't remember what, exactly, but there's apparently a patch for that. (teinedreugan was concerned 'cause it was the sort of card the big box has.) *asks him about it* He says it's ATI graphics cards.

I go forth to buy lamp oil, if I can find it. And then may actually play some.

I really ought to pick that game up. But let me know if you find a patch for that problem? We have the same video card.

How do you like the game apart from the glitchiness?

And yes, by all means, stay meepy and creative-y. Brainslugs! Or remote controlled people, via inner-ear-messing-aroundness.

It strikes me as a refined version of Civ 3. It doesn't seem particularly revolutionary; they tweaked a lot of things, it is hella pretty, the new interface allows for the absorption and processing of more information faster, which makes things nice ( ... )

Ack, discouraging to hear it's just a refinement of 3, given that 3 was merely giving Civ 2 better graphics, as near as I can tell. o,o
