This is what I learned on my trip:
1. Santa Fe is just a little strange.
2. They like art, pueblos, and St. Francis.
3. When it's twenty degrees and raining and the big-rig in front of you is swerving like crazy don't slam on the brakes and turn the wheel.
4. St. John's is even more amazing than I thought it would be.
5. If you sneak into the Inn of the Governors at 6:30am you can partake of the greatest free breakfast buffet ever.
6. Santa Fe has the largest Trader Joe's I've ever seen.
7. I like hot weather much more than cold, but I can't deny the beauty of falling snow and wood fires.
I'd like to thank the following CDs for keeping me awake (mostly due to their sing-along capacity) for 30+ hours of driving:
1. Flaming Lips - Soft Bulletin
2. The Unicorns - Who will cut our hair when we're gone
3. Talking Heads - Remain In Light
4. The Almost Famous Soundtrack
5. David Bowie - Hunky Dory
6. AIH - In Case We Die
