It's so nice to be home. I missed everyone. It was so awesome walking into my house and smelling pies baking and Mozart playing. It was incredible. So I hug my mom and the first thing she says to me is, "You smell like salami!" lsdjf;lsdjflksdf what!? I haven't seen her in a month and a half and the first thing she tells me is that I smell like lunch meat. I love her.

Last night I got to hang out with Liz and Rachel, her friend Greg, Carolyn, Nate, and Alexandra. We went to Van Gogh's and it was a good time. Carolyn came back from California for the week and surprised everyone. Rachel was so excited to see her. It was really cool. Afterwards, we all went and hung out at Rachel's house and talked and Liz played a bunch of songs for us. Dang, that girl is awesome. Such a talented songwriter and she has such a beautiful voice. Geez. You go girl!

Today my dad and I went to Weehawkin to pick up this car that he got for me from a co-worker. It's a white 1991 Mazda 626. Not too shabby. It's getting fixed up a bit over this weekend. Dunno if I'll be able to take it back on Monday or if I'll have to wait a bit. Either way, I'm so thankful. It even has a pretty new CD player in it! Noice!

I also got to hang out with and babysit my neices and nephews. So good to see them again, too. Ally is sooooo stinking adorable. She gets cuter every time I see her. She's beginning to talk and I spent a good deal of time today trying to get her to say my name. She said it once, but it was like, "Peeeeeeete." It was cute. She was so attached to me today. She was climbing on me and cuddling up with me and sitting on me and giving me hugs and kisses. We danced together a little bit, too. She's so presh!

Went to church tonight. It was real nice to see everyone. Sat next to a girl who I didn't know who began going to the college/career group a few months ago. Real cool girl. It was nice talking to her and getting to know her a bit.

Afterwards, I went to Blockbuster and picked up Millions, and The Wooden Camera. I went to Susana's apartment and we watched Millions with her roommate. It was really good. And driving around alone on a cold night and listening to Iron & Wine rules.

This week feels too short already. There's so much I miss about being home and so much I wanna do. I miss school, too, though. I wish I had friends from school that lived around here.

I cannot wait to see more family tomorrow and to eeeeeaaaaaaat! Viva food! Everyone be aware of how much you have and don't take anyone or anything for granted.

Much love,
-Pete
