Limo Hunt, part one

Apr 07, 2008 15:14

So after sending in a shit load of price quote requests on a shit load of cars from a shit load of places I come home to find only one response. Well, actually, I only asked at two places because there were soooo many out there but there were like, four different cars so I figured it wouldn't be that hard... >__>

Um, yeah.
Entertainment Express got back to me yesterday night at like 12:36 [who the fuck is up answering limo emails at that hour?] and this is what they said:

The big red trolly would run about $720 dollars for our rental needs.
Then again, it would also seat 40 of us so that means only about $18 per person which is pretty sweet if you ask me.

Then there was the 1957 Chevy limousine.
For our rental needs it would have run us about $570.
& it only sat 4-6 people meaning anywhere from $95 per person to $142.5o per person.

Ix-nay on the Che-vay.

On the flip side, my brother called last night and apparently his ex-best friend's ex-wife [what a mouthful] runs a limo service and she has classic limos. I'm going to give him a call in a little while and see if he can find her number. We're hoping that since they're still pretty tight, especially since he ditched DJ, that she'll be able to cut me a deal since I'm family? :/ I don't know how that works, and frankly don't want to, but anything that saves me from paying $142.50 for a limo rental will be just fine.

We're still waiting on a response with quotes for Dream Limousine's Cadillac DTS and their Excalibur classic limo. <3 Hopefully they don't have a reason for needing to offer a $100 off prom limo rental coupon. @__@]
