Breakfast with dad this morning was bleak and a rather typical event that I've grown rather complacent with. So routine is our Sunday morning get-togethers, in fact, that I don't even put much effort into rolling out of bed, getting dressed and sitting on the cold concrete of my drive way until he comes to get me. I order the same thing every time; 2 scrambles eggs with hash browns, no toast, no meat which I drown in ketchup until I can't see the original color and a large orange juice to drink. Perhaps I'll mix it up a little next time and get French toast or something. Or maybe I'll even meet him there and save him from having to go, .00003 inches down the road to my house and having to turn around. :O
I spent the rest of the day napping.
No really, I napped from 10:30-3:30. That's like, forever.
And then cleaning my room for an hour and a half.
A few words to those who who are wondering if it's habitable again, it's not.
Sorry to get your hopes up.
My sister came and get me at six and we went to Don Pablos. She thinks she's sneaking and try and surprise me with my dad and Richie just randomly showing up but I know her hand, she can't lie to my face to save her life. She did pull that whole "it's her birthday, sing to her" card with the waitress though, and I began contemplating fashioning a shiv out of my stir fry pan's handle. Thankfully though, when the waitress came back to see what kind of "free dessert" I wanted she was very convinced by my "I will kill someone face" and my "for the safety of your staff, keep all singing to yourselves and away from this table" speech.
Oh the benefits of looking capable of murder and as evil as possible.
Dinner was followed shortly by book shopping at BARNES AND NOBLE [aka Heaven.] and I was able to pick up a copy of "The Faery Reel, Tales from the Twilight Realm" which is a compilation novel featuring the literary works of some of my most beloved authors such as Holly Black, Gregory Frost and Neil Gaiman. <3
All is well on the home front, el cap-i-tan.
