T-t-t-thats All folks
I had a kick ass weekend. Friday was the first of 2 "dates" with Larissa. We talked forever and really didn't run out of things to talk about. it was awesome just to talk to her, it was almost like a date but without seeing each other. Oh well June 5 that problem will be solved. Saturday I shot my final movie. It went so smooth. the only problems were my kite wouldn't fly and i got a crappy light kit from the cage. The kite wasn't that big a deal cause the sotry didn't depend on it, the light kit was a little bit bigger problem. the safety screens didn't really fit on the lights, and the neck of one of the lights was broken so it could only point down. i got it all done though and i think i have some really awesome shots. my cast was awesome too. they were just so easy to work with and so good at what they were doing so it worked out perfectly. man i can't get over how well it worked out for me. All my other shoots had been completly painful. broken equipment, personality conflicts, stupid people, being underfeed, and crappy stories that i had no interest in. It was so nice that i had a great shoot on my last one. it just reaffirmed that i'm in the right place doing the right thing. in a related area i'm thinking of switching my concentration from editing to documentary. I really like watching documentaries and they look so cool. i think i also like the idea of changing someone's opinion on something. Maybe i can concentrate on editing for documentaries, that would be really awesome. i guess i should get some sleep tonight since i have to get up early to return my equipment for the last time this year. it was just a great weekend for me.
