The White Rabbit

Mar 14, 2007 16:38

I pulled you out
like a vanishing rabbit
Gripped you by the snout,
and then let you have it
My eye was alert;
the night calm and clear
A star hit the dirt
in my rear-view mirror
Chosen to squander
I lost sense
and found her
Determined to gain
new insight...
I pulled you out
like a vanishing rabbit
Gripped you by the snout,
and then let you have it
I've grown too old
to give you my life
So I just gave my cold
It pierced like a knife
Beneath the fabric
I know there's
a maverick who's
scaled me though he's
scared of heights...

I pulled you out
like a vanishing rabbit...
I pulled you out
like a vanishing rabbit...
