Everyone has jumped into a puddle at least once or twice in their lives. Who can blame them, there is an abundance of shallow puddles; and you can jump right in without any fear of drowning.
But what if you want to go swimming?
Yet many people never go any further than getting their feet wet. Sure the ocean is scary. What with its undertows, alternating currents, the fear of losing sight of land.
I'm not saying one should just dive in head first, but why not immerse yourself, at least once?
