Halloween was nice and low-key. We watched The Walking Dead on AMC which was like a movie because it was 90 minutes. That was really good. Probably the best zombie thing I've seen (other than 30 Days of Night) because it's done more like straight-up drama than like a horror movie.
Also, I'm participating in NaNoWriMo this year. I've never attempted it before. I've been wanting to write, but very little has happened. I pretty much decided yesterday to make the attempt. By the end of the month, I should have something I can work with and perhaps I'll have a head of steam going and regain the habit of writing. I have 600 words or two pages and have already experienced a bout of "I hate everything I've just written." However, I am persevering and will just forge ahead.
Watched Hoarders. Decided to give up on Cake Boss.
Tomorrow is Election Day. I will vote, but my personal opinion is that everyone loses tomorrow. This election is ugly and sad. I have never been so disgusted by the political process. In general, I think every incumbent should be thrown out of office. We need public servants and statesmen again.
