(no subject)
Up late last night. Apparently missed the storms. Slow start to the day. Went to the bank and library. Have less money than expected. Hopefully I just forgot to write down down something. Picked up Starman Omnibus Vol. 5 and The Umbrella Academy Vol. 1. Grilled hamburgers with Muenster cheese which turned out awesome (used rosemary, garlic and Worcestershire) with a side of fries.
On Tuesdays, we usually watch Glee at 8:00. I'm waiting to watch it with Katie next week. It's the Rocky Horror episode and should be MUCH better than the past few weeks. Now, I liked Glee early on, but they have systematically ruined every character on the show, and now I mostly watch Glee so I can bitch about what they fucked up this week. I'm not sure how much longer I'll keep watching. I don't have much patience left for it.
We DVR Melissa & Joey. This show has been a pleasant surprise. I always loved her on Sabrina. We also DVR Parenthood and Caprica, both of which we are hideously behind on watching. Parenthood is fun and I love Peter Krause. Caprica is simply fraking awesome. We also started watching the new show Nick Swardson's Pretend Time.
Also on is Yao Ming's return to the Houston Rockets against some jerkwad team from LA. Usually, I don't bother with NBA games at all. Go Yao!
Other than that, there was some more housecleaning and Civ2. I watched ep. 3 of Hawaii Five-0. I like the guys playing McGarrett and Williams, but enough with the backstory already! Chin Ho is a badass!! I like the main guys all right, but really watch the show for Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park. Plus the shots of Hawaii are spectacular. Katie, Bootsie misses you. I do, too.
