The short version: Katie got back this weekend from her visit to St. Louis. I'm very happy about this. That was a long time apart. She brought back Pepsi Throwback. Also awesome. No, really. Sugar is fresher and lighter than fructose. It's why I liked Jones Soda. If Throwback was available, I'd buy it instead of Regular Pepsi. I ran out of time and only got a third the way through the Moorcock book. I plan to spend a couple afternoons at Border's or the library to finish it. I watched Glee on Tuesday. It was pretty good and I like some of the people in it. I'm not the biggest fan of the production numbers though, and that is what the show is about...Glee Club. I'm happy that Fringe, Dollhouse, Old Christine and Gary Unmarried (what? I like it.) have all been picked up for a second season. I've heard talk about yet another season of Scrubs. While that would be good, they finished the series so well that they should just leave it. Adult Swim was new Aqua Teen, new Squidbillies and new Mighty Boosh. A/S needs new Frisky Dingo, Metalocalypse and Venture Bros. and less Tim and Eric and Xavier. Looking forward to The Goode Family (Mike Judge) starting Wednesday. The kitchen is freshly painted (walls light tan, white ceiling) and has a new floor. It's nice. Still doing stuff in there. Need to redo the sink and countertop to get the pipes lined up and no more backup and have to finish painting in the pantry and putting some plexiglass or something in the alcove below the pantry shelves used for cat boxes so that it's easy to clean and the cat pee doesn't corrode the new paint (like it did on the old baseboards) Sarah, Katie's sister came back with her and is staying with us for a while. Rose will be in the area visiting sometime early to mid June. That's about as far ahead as I care to think right now. OK this wasn't supposed to go long.
